Air Tightness Testing
Part L1A of the 2006 Building Regulations requires all new homes to be tested for air leakage. This is carried out when a house is completed and is necessary for building control to provide the final Building Certificate for the house.
We are fully accredited Air Tightness engineers and our certificates are accepted by Building Control as evidence that the correct procedures have been followed. Building Control therefore does not have to be present at our tests.
